This Sauternes is characterized by its fruitiness, notes of citrus and botrytized grapes, its unctuousness and its finesse. On the palate, we find a very good volume with notes of honey. Very nice finish.

DETAILS
Originally a seigniorial property, it was ennobled in 1565. The vineyard already existed. Armajan then belonged to Pierre Sauvage. A branch of this family settled in Yquem. Partially destroyed during the Fronde, the château was rebuilt around 1750 by Vincent Guichaner, Lord of Armajan and son-in-law of Montesquieu.
Jacques and Guillaume Perromat, 6th generation winegrowers, now operate the family property located in the commune of Preignac.
The average age of our vines is 30 years. The area is 6 ha.
In the interest of quality, we preferred to increase the planting density to 6500 vines/ha for a low yield of 12 hl/ha.
